Comfortable, practical, stylish, and sustainable? We’re talking sustainable crossbody bags, an eco-essential for every green wardrobe.

If you’re ready to ditch toxin-tanned leather and planet-polluting PVC, we’ll point you toward some of our favorite brands making this crossfunctional minimalist wardrobe essential.

To find these brands, we’re crossing into new territory by rolling a new Brand Rating System we’ve developing that extends what we look for in featured brands to 22 criteria, including things like animal welfare policies, brand size, and diversity (with a preference toward women and BIPOC-owned companies). Learn more about the whole process here.

We independently research all featured brands and we ask them to confirm their claims. In many cases we personally review recommended products. This post contains affiliate links which means we may earn a commission if you buy something. Learn more here.
